We Wrote a Book!

A Living Alternative - Sarah Bessey endorsement

Maybe the title for this post should be a bit more professional, but I’m excited so decided to let that out. About a year and a half ago, we MennoNerds got the opportunity to write an anthology. This is our result: A Living Alternative: Anabaptist Christianity in a Post-Christendom World. The topic, as summarized in the subtitle, is a broad one. So are the styles: mine is much more of an essay, others more personal testimonies, etc. We have a lot of great writers in the MennoNerds network so there’s a lot here that I’m excited to read.

The book will be available at most major stores. As of writing this it already is on Amazon US and UK as well as Barnes and Noble, but more options will be available both print and electronic. For more information including store links as they go live, check out the listing on the MennoNerds site.

Random other excited tidbit. I never imagined that people like Sarah Bessey, Christena Cleveland, Shane Claiborne, Stuart Murray, and Greg Boyd would be reading my writing. Maybe someday I thought they might stumble across a blog, but definitely not a book even if I ever wrote in a book. All five of those people were cited in my chapter. All five of those people gave endorsements (the foreword in Murray’s case), which means they read it and liked it. That’s still kind of blowing my mind.

This post is excited babbling so I have no smooth way to wrap up this post. Go buy it!

P.S. Stay tuned for a giveaway. It will likely miss Christmas, but I’ll do one in the new year.
